For those of us anglers who can’t always afford the newest and greatest fishing equipment Mystery Tackle Box is a fantastic way to explore the endless amount of lures that are on the market today. For just $15 a month the great folks at http://www.mysterytacklebox.com will send you out a box just like the one pictured above with $15 worth of random fishing lures. It is a complete surprise what is going to arrive on your doorstep each month, but I will say I am very impressed and based on reviews everyone else is also.
The package comes through your standard USPS mail and is shipped out on the 10th of each month. This month the package arrived on the 13th! That is pretty good and they even send you a link via email to track your package. Once you get through the first part of the packaging you come to the box that is pictured at the top of the post.
After you take the top off the box you realize that this is a very nice investment.
This month I received four brand new products from very reputable companies. The box was literally overflowing with the goodies. After digging through the contents like I was a twelve year old tearing through a new pack of baseball cards, I found that you also receive a description of each product and a website where you can purchase more. I also received 2 discount cards I could give to friends to allow them to receive their first month for only $5.00.
This month subscribers received the following products:
Overall I think I am most excited about the scented craws, as I live close to the Potomac River and they seem to be a great choice for flipping docks for the smallies. But I will end up using all of these products and determining if I should cough up the dough to buy them again in the future. Again I love this concept it is genius and gives the budget angler a great opportunity to test products before investing too much money in them.

If you are a Mystery Tackle Box subscriber I would love to hear your thoughts on everything!
I have thought about signing up for mystery tackle box for awhile. I was really interested in that bird lure that they featured one month. Cool stuff.
Yeah, they did a good job this month as well. I don’t remember exactly what came but it was a lipless crank, some KVD Swimbaits and some spinnerbait trailers. I should be getting my TackleGrab package today and will post pictures of that tomorrow at some point. It should be a nice comparison.
